Stressed? Burned out? Tired? Need Encouragement? Mad? Sad? Busy? CRAZY BUSY? Need direction? Feeling lost? Need hope, love, and wisdom?

Yes. I know.

We’ve all felt these feelings and more at various times in our lives. For the most part, it’s for one collective reason:

Disconnect

When He is our Source…

When He is the One we let define us…

When He is the One we follow…

When He is the One we run to first

When His Word is read, rightly understood, and obeyed…

There is peace. Energy. Healing. Encouragement. Joy. Calm. Rest. Comfort. Direction. There are answers.

God’s Word is alive. His Word is powerful and sharp as a surgeon’s scalpel, cutting through EVERYTHING. Nothing and no one is impenetrable by God’s Word. Nothing:

For God’s Word is living and effective and sharper than any double-edged sword, penetrating as far as the separation of soul and spirit, joints and marrow. It is able to judge the ideas and thoughts of the heart. Hebrews 4:12

Whatever life looks like for you, it’s always a good idea to stay connected and encouraged by His Word everyday. In helping you stay connected during this busy season – in every season – I’d like to be a blessing to you:

Stay connected with a quick reminder of hope, love, and wisdom from the Word of God by texting “@worddaily” (no spaces and including the “@” symbol) to 901-730-7233

Texting “@worddaily” (no spaces and including the “@” symbol) will activate a quick verse or word of encouragement from me once a day. I won’t be able to view your cell number and you can’t see mine. You will not be spammed. You won’t even be able reply to me with this system. It’s just me. Live from my cell phone.

Stand your ground (It IS completely possible to get sucker-punched in life and come out standing strong. emphasis mine), putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God’s righteousness. For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News so that you will be fully prepared. In addition to all of these, hold up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil. Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere. Ephesians 6:14-18

This is the only way to be dressed and ready for service. It is enough.

Stay connected.
